kitchen

When I was contacted for this kitchen remodel, the homeowner was sure that she wanted to knock out the wall between the kitchen and living room.

Instead, we knocked out a wall that was separating the original kitchen from an unused area that had originally been designed as the dining room. This allowed for us to extend the kitchen into this space and created a breakfast bar open to the living room and dining room area in the front of the house.

This additional space also allowed for a full-height pantry and home office area. The cabinet doors fully open and retract to make a standing computer desk accessible.

The quartzite countertops provided the foundation for a stunning, light neutral palette.
