french antique farmhouse
This brick, Magnolia French Provincial home has undergone a significant remodel to the 2nd story already and was ready to have its kitchen renovated to be in keeping with the rest of the home's character.
The homeowners are true cooks and were frustrated with poor space planning in the previous kitchen design. We extended the island and eliminated a peninsula separating the kitchen from the formal dining room space to provide significantly more counter space.
A window was added to provide much more natural light and a sweet focal point to the kitchen design.
Lastly, cabinets were added at the far end of the formal dining room space to provide much needed storage in a buffet/side board that is in keeping with the aesthetic.
Existing stained fir doors and hardwood floors provided depth and warmth to their palette.
