This Laurelhurst Cape Cod was ready for a kitchen renovation as an upgrade and to reflect the sweet character of the home.

Since I had already worked extensively with the home and clients previously, establishing their color palette throughout the rest of their home, we had an easy time picking up there to select all of their new finishes.

​

Beginning with quartzite countertops that resonated beautifully with the colors in the dining room and living room, we then selected new paint colors for the cabinets, walls, and ceiling.  The tile was also a critical consideration to transition from the countertops to the cabinets and walls and ceiling.

​

The layout was left essentially the same with some minor changes to create a lovely focal point between the range and refrigerator. Central glass-front cabinets for glassware and dishes allow for easy access.
